Welcome, Karen! You've come to the right place!! You will learn more about Haflingers here than you ever thought possible. This is the greatest group of people and the collective knowledge is immense and freely shared. Congratulations on your purchase, sounds like you're not new to horses! :-) I'd like to hear from you about the differences you notice when you compare your new Haffies to all the other horses you've ever had. I too had been around horses all my life until I happened upon the breed.....today I'm off to buy the second one!

My name is Karen Garriott and Im new here to the group. I joined because I just bought my first team of Haflinger geldings and would like to learn more about the breed.

I plan on eventually using my boys for my carriage service here in Arkansas. If any of you would like to take a look see at what we do my website is www.princesscarriage.com. It has 14 pages of pictures, photo gallery, video, and even a blog that tells stories about some of the jobs we have done.

I cant wait to get these boys home and get started with them! general info about the breed, its temperament, etc. I would dearly LOVE to hear about! Ive had ponies before but never purebreds.
