[haflingerfriends] Re: New here

Thanks Julie,
Im more than certain that Im going to learn a lot here. This is a wonderfully active group and thats whats needed to ensure a steady stream of information is exchanged.

Id also like to add here that everyone here seems to be extrodinarily nice and pleasant.Sometimes when a new person posts to a group the welcome is not nearly so warm, and its more like you have accidently invaded a private club.

If this group is an example of Haflinger owners are like Im going to LOVE having them! I may even have to hit some shows when I know what Im doing with them.

While I'm not so much a driver as many others on the list, I'm sure you'll learn plenty from the others that are. Haffie temperaments are a bit entertaining...very smart buggers. You will notice on this list that they love to test new inexperienced owners (myself included at one time). As time, effort, experience and familiarity continues, haffies are like your most loyal companion dog. Enjoy!

It has 14 pages of pictures, photo gallery, video, and even a blog that tells stories about some of the jobs we have done.
