Well, scratch that idea. The thought was to put something on that is
distastful. I know people who have use chili pepper on wood and bandages to
deter chewing, but I have never heard of it used direct on a horse. Perhaps
something milder like ginger would work. But I'm sure that if you could
smear the area with past wormer - your problem would be solved! :o)
As far as bar soap goes, I prefer plain old Ivory. Because of the air in
it, it is less dense and smears on better leaving small pieces here and
there. With harder soaps like Irish Spring, I find it more trouble to
apply.
