Listen to what you want, but also ask questions about what you need, and your experience, and try and match you with the right horse
Sell horses with not only healthy bodies but sound minds, and they're well handled.
Follow up to make sure that the horses are settling in their new home.
Send horses who look as good or better at the end of a 1200 mile trip to their new home, than they did 2 months before when I agreed to buy them.
Now I'm not saying that Dawn is unique in the Haflinger world, I'm sure that there are lots of great sellers out there, all I can truthfully say is that I've bought many horses in my life, both in the UK and here in Canada, and this was just a great experience from start to finish.
OK, I'll stop simging her praises now, and just wonder if it's sad that one really good experience stands out...........
