[haflingerfriends] Re: Biting

Just an FYI... the substance that makes Chili peppers hot is capsaicin, and not only does it burn the mouth, it will burn skin. I would be hesitant to put it on my horses coat, as it may seep through to the skin. Not only would the horse that bites get burned, the horse that is bit will be burnt. I would check the ingredients on any premade spray as well. (not sure what is in McNasty)
Why not just put a lightweight blanket on them... like maybe a sturdy Rambo rainsheet? (pretty indestructable)
