Subject: [haflingerfriends] Biting
My horse and his pasture buddy are pulling hunks of hair etc. off each other. They are only "playing" - little brother (my horse) is taunting big brother until he gets a reaction. They are both having a fine time but, of course, occasionally skin is broken and a couple of times I have been unable to put a saddle on them because of the location of the bites. The healing can take some time which is inconvenient.
Here's my question.... .can I spray something on them to make them distasteful to each other?
Any suggestions appreciated.
