RE: [haflingerfriends] Why Halflingers?

Cari, I too live in central Iowa, I haven't had my haflingers very long but they seem to have nice tempers. I do not currently know of anyone with one for sale but I will keep my eyes open. I will warn you about the sale barns in the area. Not real concerned about making sure sellers are honest and not even concerned if they are drugged to the gills. So I strongly recommend a private sale. I would be more than willing to help you look, do you have a list of requirements? In the mean time if you are not too far and want to go trailing riding if the snow EVER goes away, I have a POA mare you could ride her with us sometime.
