I even got a little hello mom when he saw me coming..that always melts my heart!
He has been pretty much a grouch all winter...nothing new there :)
But today the sun was shinning and he had the prime spot leaning on the barn in the sun with no wind..taking a little nap!
I got him out and we said our hellos and had some treats..then he decided that my jacket didn't need to be zipped so he unzipped it...I just had to laugh he has never done this before!
I zipped it back up just so he could look at me then unzipp it again..what a goof ball..then he gave me a kiss!
Before winter we had been head butting alot, struggeling to see who was the boss and then winter came and we both got some alone time...I think it did us both some good and now we are ready for a fresh start this spring!
I am looking into a trainer to come out and work with us...teaching Gus the fine art of trail ridding and not being a hunter jumper anymore and well teaching me how to ride western the right way!
I just wanted to share that silly little story..it made me fall in love all over again :)
