Molly - I also feed ACV each day, mix it with the vitamin pellets. My horse loves it! I just pour a good dollop (might not be quite a 1/2 c). If I know I am going to be trucking my horse to someplace new, I pour a bit in his water here at home for a couple days ahead of time, and then add it to the water at the new place (sometimes a horse will not like the taste of different water). It seems to keep the consumption steady.
I remember reading ACV for horses articles online....take a look.
