[haflingerfriends] Re: Probiotics?

Hi Jody,
No, I don't need a quicker reply. You can email me direct if you'd like to. I'm curious as to what is in the product as Scharly(the princess) has some allergy issues. I've added equipride to her diet at this time, but I'm not up to the full dosage as I'm not working her very hard due to the weather.
Later,
Laura in very foggy right now Cal.

One of the products that she is on is called Nutrient Buffer. This is a natural antacid that helps to seal the gut.  This has been a tremendous help to her already as she used to have watery stools, not diarrhea but just loose.  She used to have a dirty tail and bottom before going on this. It costs about $55 for a gallon but is worth it and is natural.

Diagnoses w/ ulcers in July (?) -stress related I'd guess (did not like being away from home?) Anyway - I put her on probios to aid in her digestion - she apparenlty has trouble digesting hay - GREAT - anyway - I keep her weight managed - she is also back to work and doing GREAT - thank GOD - but I have changed her to something called FAST TRACk - and I'll also be changing her feed to something called Triple Crown Lite because the probiotics are contained IN the feed. (at which time I'll discontinue the fastrack supplement). The fastrack has been proven to have more LIVE culture than Probious - what you want is live cultures.
