TO DAWN, we adopted a rescued Haflinger from a reputable organization. Price was our very LAST consideration--we still had to feed her. She fit our needs and she was NOT free (reputable organizations have expenses, too) although she was not the price of a registered 6yo Haflinger with some training. (I turned down 3 different free, young horses while waiting for the right one for us). GOOD for you for acknowledging these equines that are a good fit for someone!!! You've warmed my heart with your FYI during some unseasonably cold weather here in NE TN. :o) Judy
