Hello group I have not posted to the group often but have learned so much from all of you.
I am posting to let you know that my Samantha died this past weekend.
We had the vet out because she was laying down, rolling. The vet said she was impacted and we did the tube. She seemed fine. The vet said she would be back in the morning to check on her. I brought her into her stall and braided her mane and tail she was beautiful. The next morning she couldn't stand. When the vet arrived she started her on IV fluids. I stayed with her all day, she finally died at around 3pm. It was so unexpected and I feel so lost.
She had only been with me for three years and she was only 10y old.
We had just started becoming really good friends. We were taking lessons together and this past week I trotted on line with her it was great.
