Lene, please educate us then. What will happen to the mares that do not meet the standards, I am especially curious as to the ones on the breeding farms. Do they get retired then? Nice green pastures? It doesn't happen here all that often, horses off the race track having earned million plus dollars still get booted out the door when they no longer win.
