Re: [haflingerfriends] Re: World Haflinger Federation breed standard minimum height raised

I just love anonymous posters who like to blast without putting their name
to their posts! Where's your credibility if you won't sign what you write?

No, the AHR Board was not informed about the WHF standard change until the
September meeting minutes were translated and sent to us. That is a
problem, a BIG problem as the AHR pays WHF dues every year and yes, we do
follow most WHF standards with the exception of making
inspection/classification voluntary, not mandatory. So this matters a great
deal to American breeders.

As for the spotted horse that pretends to be a Haflinger...AHR is not going
to waste its puny budget fighting a futile legal fight over the use of a
breed name that has no copyright. We can't change the fact there are fools
in the US who are willing to buy a spotted horse that is unethically
represented as something it is not.

What would you have AHR do?

And sign your name this time or you might find yourself unplugged from this
list.
