I suspect Wichita (aka Babe) got his looks from his mom who must've been a loggers wife. LOL He's got that wide chest (like your Scharly) but as far as we can tell, none of her refinement. I don't mean refined as in she looks "modern" or anything. I mean...she looks like a girl. :)
Babe is all boy. He looks like he'd be in a taber toss. (caber?) Whatever...like he throws logs around for fun! lol His head and all that thick busy hair...he just looks like a boy..

Marilyn, In 2003, I saw a wonderful photo of Westworld M&B. He had three darling little girls sitting on his back and I thought "That is the style Haflinger I want." All three girls were their cute dresses, boots and were bareback. Reminded me of the mountain Welsh ponies (but larger) that my girls started on. He was owned by Primo Ponies in El Dorado, Cal. at the time. He has since been gelded and is still in the area. (Little did I know I would end up with a mare from the M&B Farm out of Canada.)
