I didn't realize that Dean had owned Nordstern or I would have asked you if you had a photo. For some reason, I just thought that he lived nearby, and Dean had bred his mare to him. Maybe he didn't own him for very long?? All well. When I read this opportunity to maybe get a photo of him finally, I jumped on it and Stefan sent me a couple of lovely photos of him. He is strikingly beautiful and I am so pleased to finally be able to see a picture of Nordy's sire whom I have longed to see. I knew he was nice as I have had people at shows ask me whose Nordy's sire is, and I would tell them Nordstern, and they would always reply with a favorable comment. And, I do remember you saying favorable things about him when I asked you. And, I do remember you saying, if you ever wanted to breed for a dressage horse, you would breed to Nordstern. Maybe this was all before you got Rock?, lol. Anyways, what a loss that he is gone. Nordy does
have the most uncomplicated personality I have ever seen in which it sounds like he took after his father.

Why didn't you just call me!?! :) I have pictures of Nordstern M&B, Dean bought him from M&B farms! He was such a lovely boy, very sweet and kind, all could ride and handle him. I always said that of the 7 stallions Dean had and stood, that if I could only breed to one stallion, it would have been Nordstern. He always put a stamp on his babies, and always seemed to improve any type of mare. He was great.
