One of the members of our list who has been with us from the very beginning,
Regine Nickel from New York, sent this letter this morning, and I wanted to
share it with all of you:
Dear Emily,
Regine Nickel here. I have been away from the haflinger friends since three
months ago, when we had to go to Germany. My Mom was diagnosed with lung
cancer late August and she died in December.
We, all of us, but especially my young daughter, have been on a roller
coaster of emotions and terribly homesick for our golden girl OMai. We
submitted her picture to equusite.com last night and they put it up on their
website to be voted on today. We'll take any chance we get to give a shout
for our golden ponies!!!
