Thank you Jacque - valueable info for a potential Haflinger buyer. Must say that I have learned alot from following the discussions on this list. who is actually preserving the Haflinger breed .... hmmm. In my book the only reason to buy a purebreed horse is to get a horse which live up to the a standard (which meets what I'm looking for) - this does NOT seem to be the case in US for the Haflinger.
