She's got the wet look this morning as it has been raining most the night and she wanted to hydrate herself. It makes for the youthful skin look. No bees working today on those blossoms.
Stay warm back there in the snow areas,
Laura, Cal.

Not another storm this time, thank goodness, but it just reminds us that there is no blooming or green in sight for quite some time! Whew, now that that is off my chest.....Laura, Scharly couldn't be more gorgeous, could she? Scharly and the blooms, what a combo! Thanks for posting them, I think I have a crush on her ;-).

This time of year is a great time to take pictures with things starting to bloom, green grass, In another month or 2 when everyone sheds their fuzzy coats we should take a bunch more and put an album together of our cali haffy's. hehe. Or all of our haffy's in spring, I am sure some of you with haffy's back east have some beautiful spring moments that a haffy would look great in! I will be looking for some great pictures this spring to paint of haflingers to enter in the local fair so be prepared when I start asking.

You can also see the almond trees blossoming in the background. We've been hearing the bees working away, so maybe we'll have a better almond crop this year. So Scharly and Wyatt are cousins. lol

I would LOVE to find another one like him.. for I am now driving pairs and my other guys do not move anything like him. He was out of Westwynd M&B and Shikka and was from the original M&B Farm that is no longer. He has NO WHITE on his face or legs.. and is a light colored gold with a white underbelly. He is 14 years old now. If anyone knows of any M&B or Westwynd offspring for sale, pleae e-mail me off the list. THANKS! Jennifer DrJWellsDC@
