Yesterday when I was making the long hike in from pasture with Charlie I got warm and threw my jacket up over his neck, tucked into his turnout sheet, for him to carry. The blanket slipped off and he stopped dead in his tracks. I turned to see why he stopped, and he picked up the jacket and "handed" it to me! I'm sure he did it to be gentlemanly......it could Not have been a chance for him to investigate the pockets for a treat!
