[haflingerfriends] Re: chocolate Haffie

I'm having so much fun reading all these post about color variations and what is acceptable to the breed standard. I might mention that after many years out of the horse biz we are looking at getting back in somewhat with a new breed for us, a Haflinger! As a kid growing up my family showed Arabians. Arabian horse owners appreciate the different color variations and celebrate them. You can find true bays, grays, chestnuts, etc. Confrmation remained the most important criteria always. What fun it was to attend national shows and see the variety...
