[haflingerfriends] Michigan (Monroe County) Haflinger members/owners

Hi I am trying to find out some information on my one Haflinger. I have contacted the AHR and Great Lakes Haflinger Association many times but have yet to have them reply. I am trying to look for the breeder of my Haflinger gelding, who is 12 years old. He was bred my an older gentlemen Haflinger breeder in LaSalle, Michigan. I can provide photos of his front, back and side if needed to possibly identify the breeder. The breeders name could have possibly been John. I basically purchased him from Bedford Woods Stables in Temperance, MI. They bought him as a 2yr old gelding. They purchased him from a man who bought him from the breeder in LaSalle. I guess the breeder sold him cause he bred to two of his haflinger mares. Then the man who bought him after that, said he was too big for any of his harnesses and he couldnt find a suitable match for his build for cart. I have been trying for years to search for the breeder or at least find out his bloodlines so i can put the papers through and re-register him. I hate to register him as a stock horse if he is already registered.
