[haflingerfriends] Haflingers - gotta love them

I looked out into the back pasture today and saw 2 unknown people petting my 4 Haflinger girls, hmmm. When I walked out to the field it turned out to be 2 young neighbor girls, about 10yrs old, petting and messing with the horses. One of them had her jacket around Cindy's neck, a 26 yr old broodmare, retired, and was leading her around!! The other 3 mares were just standing there waiting for some attention too. They liked Cindy best because she was shorter than the other 3.

Thank goodness the horses were all well behaved and hoping for treats without biting any fingers! The girls are in love with the horses, but haven't had permission to go out with them, wonder how long this has been going on?
