[haflingerfriends] Haflinger Mare for Sale in San Diego, CA

4 year old (5 in April)registered Haflinger mare, Fimel of HyLite, for sale. "Skye" is 14 hands, gorgeous, modern, and feminine. Beautiful uphill mover, with a big walk and a trot you can sit forever. She is very sweet, quiet, and smart, with a very brave, inquisitive personality. I bought her as an almost 3 year old out of a bad situation, and she has turned out to be even more special than I suspected. She has been ground-driven and has had a lot of ground work and round pen work, and has been well-started at the walk and trot, but I no longer have the time to finish her and give her the attention she deserves. She was shown in-hand as a 3-year old and was very well-mannered. She has also always been very well-behaved under saddle, and even though she is green, she is quiet enough for an experienced child or intermediate adult working with a trainer. We are in northern San Diego County. $2500 OBO to excellent home; would be worth much more with a little more time under saddle.
