I guess after he sat in a field for a year no one wanted to deal with him because he was bucking people off and to sell him he has grade 1 clubs on both front feet so cosmetically it scared people off. Their loss, my gain - because after I rode out the "naughty pony" thoughts he has phenomenal movement and personality and will jump prelim eventing fences (if I let him) and the club feet are not a problem - x-rays clean, everything looking good and the natural trimmer has his bare feet strong and healthy.
Dressage judges LOVE him and of course anyone that sees this little guy haul his golden rear over a prelim fence wants to buy him!
If you have any photos or know Winston from his earlier years please let me know!
