The Haflinger we brought up from VA are the three that were on craigslist for $200.00 a piece.  They are mentally a mess.  They are of healthy weight, but were not socialized or taken care of in any other way.  I heard from an earlier post that the ac4h mare were placed.  I will call Christy and see what is up with them.  I may be able to foster 1 or 2 for her.  She usually has an issue with someplace to put them when she gets them out of the kill pens.  The guy in VA actually has one more left down there.  We are trying to get him out of there as well.

Cindy, are these three the mares that had the youtube videos on the ac4h website? I looked at those mares and it broke my heart, but felt it was out of my capability to help them since I am in California and don't really have room for three more.

Please, please post photos of them and give us a progress report about them, they looked like nice mares....

The three from craigslist that my daughter Amber coordinated bringing up here are doing very well. They were fed fairly well, just not handled much manes & tails in knots and dirty  They are in the warm barn now all cleaned up for what we can in the snow (wasn't going to try the vacuum yet But they are cleaned up, warm and loving the hay.
