[haflingerfriends] Re: Carol/chunky = Vac.

Hi Beth,
I am a retired officer from Pittsburgh, Pa. I was the "foundation" mare (lol) for our mounted unit. Our anti-horse, anti-police, chief disbanded the unit after 9 years. I retired shortly afterwards after 23 years on the street. My brilliant partner, Donald Duck, died on Aug.17,09; he was a Morgan/Quarter. As you know, my life depended on him every single day as his depended on me. This is a bond few will every have the privilege to expreince. Now, I must NOT compare my new horse to my old horse...she is my horse, her own self and I will enjoy who she is and the journey to finding out just who that is. My ribs are still healing and the lung is still badly bruised. Well it is freezing cold here so I am not missing riding! Be safe.
Fraternally,

Carole with Chunky
