If you'd consider the mid-west, Ohio that is, there are lots of possibilities! I know of 2 properties for sale right now within 15 minutes of me. One is a boarding barn, with nice house, trails and just about everything you'd need. All in excellent condition with the business opportunity built in. Lots of trails and horsey type people in the area - I'm only 20 minutes from the capital of Ohio, Columbus but live in the country.
Also this part of Ohio has a fairly stable employment rate, some really 1st rate hospitals, and we are only 1.5 hours from Amish country.
