Hello Haflinger Friends! I just got home... it was a LONG day... we drove the Rose Queen and Court with our Haflinger geldings: Manny and Wyatt.. and then performed with the Western Haflinger Group in our performance.. My husband was from the "red" region and I played the "Queen"...and my girlfriend drove my stallion Malachi-- for the 3rd time ever--she is so brave. All went fairly well considering we all came from far away places and practiced once.. not even to music or narration. We hope we did you all proud! Thank you all for your generous support financially and in spirit! We appreciate you all! And, FYI we were told our position in the parade has changed.. to #12 now. We will have more info tomorrow. So, we will be EARLY in the parade last I heard. Victoria has the Marshall breakfast tomorrow and will let us all know after that. May you all have a very Happy and Safe New Year!
