Make sure your haynet is the small mesh hay net. Not a regular sized one. I have also gotten a (http://www.warmspringsproducts.com/) slow down feeder that works really well. It has made the world of difference for Scharly. Now today I didn't soak my hay, and I could see a difference in her body on the crest. I'll be soaking dinner. Sorry Scharly.

I had a hay net before for her and ummm she tore it to smitherines. I did not wet the hay and make it into a ball, so maybe that will help. I also have gotten Uncle Jimmies Hanging Balls before, well she goes through those in a matter of about 3 days and that is not being able to pin them against anything. I do soak my pellets as well, but I was not using as much water as you, so I will also have to try that. I am probably wasting more then I know. I will check into the Pine pellets not sure if we have those around here. Fryburg is a very small town and we do not have a lot of choices as to where and what we get. Thanks to you all again.

Thank goodness not the pellets as they would expand her her gut and probably would kill her. Anyhow, I was wondering if there was something else I could use to mix with the pellets as it really doesn't give a good bedding, but does obsorb the urine well. Using any of the quit chewing stuff for wood will not work. If I had my way her door would be open so she could come and go as she please. Unfortunately, my fathers horse in "thin skinned" and we have to keep the barn closed to keep the warmth for her.(we put a blanket on his horse as well, she just doesn't get a very thick winter coat) Anyhow suggestions or help you could give me would be great!!! Thanks again
