RE: [haflingerfriends] Re: Australian Sheepskin Saddle Pads

Thanks Mary & Kiola for answering about the sheepskin saddle pads. I'm
going to give it a whirl and just ordered one. Hopefully it'll work well on
my rolly polly boy.

Take care & Merry Christmas!

Hi Jen,
I do not have such a pad or know about them, but I do know that sheepskin
items are both infrequently washed and easy to wash. Kiola mentioned that
she has not had to wash hers too many times, and you are right, the
sheepskin itself has properties that encourage it to stay clean.
There are all kinds of wool wash products on the market. Euculan,
Kookaburra, etc.
Good luck, the pads sound great! I use a wool backed Skito pad-
