[haflingerfriends] Re: Bedding

You know Molly, I thought the same thing about the price. But for what it cost me when Schar was ill earlier this year.....it's not that exspensive. Especially since it stretches each meal into 2 hours of chew time, and gives me peace of mind if I need to have someone else feed for me - easy to load. I don't think some folks would want to take the time to load the hay nets 3 or 4 times a day, and tie them safely as it does take more time than just throwing the hay out. Anyway, I'm glad I invested in this slow feeder. I had tried another brand and it was more difficult for me to open the top(tired hand joints) and the openings were too big so it didn't slow her down enough to make a difference. :o)
