I thought hay soaking was something my Toby's elderly gelding neighbor invented. LOL I will definatly give it a try. Thanks!

I'm not sure of the lemon slices. I soak at least two of Scharly's meals per day, and soak,rinse,soak, rinsed and drained 4 or 5 cups of beetpulp. By weighing her hay before and after soaking, that gives her 1 gallon of water per feeding plus the water in the soaked and drained beetpulps, I rest better.. :p
