[haflingerfriends] Re: Tack

What discipline are you planning to ride? Western, english? And what specialty? There's lots of possible saddles out there for a Haflinger, depending on how they're built. A saddle with FQHB might fit well, or you might have to get a treeless. It just depends on the individual horse.

As for bits and bridles, are you riding English? Do you want something with a cavesson? What kind of a bit is the mare being ridden in right now?

Every Haflinger is different and has different preferences.

Any suggestions a where o, who or what kind do I need. Bridle? Bit? I don't want to hit and miss. I would like to get the right one first. Thanks, Camilla in Oklahoma
