In my low-experienced opinion, Tug looks more like a belgian cross. I know belgians are much bigger than haffies, but I'm thinking if a belgian were crossed with a small pony (hopefully with the mare being the belgian) the foal might come out about the size of a haflinger.
My two-cents worth,
Marilyn

Subject: [haflingerfriends] New Here
Hi Everyone,
I am new here, new to Haflingers and new to drafts. In October, I got my 7 year old daughter a Haflinger cross pony. He is absolutely wonderful and really made us a fan of the breed. I was wondering if you would look in the photo albums under "Tug" and tell me if you also think that he really a Haflinger cross.
I'm happy to be here and learn more.
Sincerely,
Shanna
