[haflingerfriends] Bob in Snow

I just posted pics of Bob and Miss Marcy in the snow which they seem to be enjoying today. Several times they have galloped across their pasture--only each time I try to snap a photo they stop and stare at me! So no lovely movement, just still shots. Their golden coats are lovely against the white snow...

Their neighs..... Bob's neigh, esp at feeding times, is a two pitched tenor greeting (first high and then a bit lower to which I respond with a two pitched "hehh--low").

Our Miss Marcy is definitely a low bass (mama sang bass?) and her neigh seems to be more of a token gesture than a genuine greeting. She doesn't 'speak' often, but she can certainly give a look that speaks volumnes!! LOL Judy in NE TN
