She has been a great brood mare for others and I had my daughter and a young woman riding her on the trails here, which are steep and rocky, twice a week and she did fine for about a year till the young woman went off to college. I am not in the condition to ride and so she has been driven by me. She has an extended trot to die for and a good overstep. She has been lead horse in hitches of 6, 4, unicorn, pair and single. In these different combinations she was lead horse in 3 national champion hitches.
I bought her I believe 3 years ago and since then her hooves have gone from really poor condition in scotch boots to beautiful hard barefoot feet. She has also had more professional training to be more flexible for sharper turns in a pair as I do driving in different conditions than a hitch arena. I have had her teeth done once a year and she has had all the shots recommended twice a year. She is more drafty than my other 2 but not what I would call totally draft...more just "substantial"
I bought her from a board member of AHR for $7K at the Tulare Auction. I am only the 3rd. owner. She is the mare closest to the camera in the Rose Parade.
