Interesting that you bring this up today.... I just was thinking as I went out to feed this morning that I can always tell which horse is "talking" to me... because Money (my Hafy) has a much deeper tone. Interesting in that the other horse here is half-Hafy... but does not have the deep sound..

Do all our haffies have that deep "huh huh huh huh" knicker, as Emily described it? Toby does. It surprised me the first time I heard it. I didn't expect his to sound so deep and constipated -- like it's not coming easily.
His neigh, too, is deep.
