She has dried encrusted manure all over the outside of her right hip. I imagine she'd rolled and have no clue how long it's been there. She seems tender when I mess with it, as in cocking her leg in warning. It's dried right up to the skin being so tight I imagine it's terribly uncomfortable, and who knows whats underneath. I'm hoping the mineral oil will aid in loosening it so I can work it out with my fingers. I want to cause her as little discomfort as possible removing it, don't want kicked but, more importantly I don't want her to think, Jeez, this lady hurts me.
