Kinda of fun to think of fairies out in the fields with the horses at night, or sneaking into the barn when no one is looking to braid the horses manes.
And look, someone actually captured one of the fairies in the act!!!!!

"wind knots" must be those horribly tangled messes that wavey haired-horses get in their manes (and, tails, too, probably) even though their mane was just brushed and conditioned a few days ago. I'm glad to know it's name.

Glad this popped up again, it was posted on our local horse board, I'm still trying to get up courage to try it. I wish she would come up with a similar thing for manes, they are my biggest issue, wind knots, rubs, burrs YUK.
