the cost per issue and the more attractive to corporate advertisers like
equine health, vehicles, tack, trailers. They won't even look at us at our
current circulation so it is a Catch-22. Our current advertisers are
our members. We continue to work on trying to find outside ad dollars.
We are considering some kind of online version, but it is not accessible to
the hundreds of Amish members and members with download limitations due to dial up internet connections (likely about half of our membership). Their needs must be met as well.
