the only thing i know about them is i buy them in the fall & use them to keep spiders away - they also used to make fences out of the branches i guess. i think cattle will eat them, too, if they are available.

Has anyone heard of horses eating Ossage oranges, or monkey balls? An old timer horse woman I know said horses will eat them and they don't hurt the horse. I never heard of this or saw a horse eat them. There aren't any around now, but we have tons of them around here in the fall.
