Sorry about your shoulder, though glad it wasn't horse related. It's the mud that's keeping me from riding right now. At home, Bob hops on the trailer like it's his very favorite place in all the world, but he is slower when it's time to return home and I am tired. I'm thinking he wants to stay and play with all the horses! LOL He certainly acts like the social butterfly, neighing to them all.
Have you continued lessons on Libby (until shoulder injury)? My regular trainer taught in Chicago last summer and I was fortunate enough to locate another great trainer just a few minutes from our farm (no cheaper, just closer <G>). We're now riding in an Albion dressage saddle and Bob loves the fit--good fit at shoulder and good distribution of rider weight (plus comfy for me). I'll need to replace billets for utmost safety before too long.
Meanwhile I use the Isabell Wintec for the occasional winter ride; it's easy to clean. Do you get a chance to visit Ojai very often? Hope to hear more from you; heal well! Judy in NE TN (yipee, the sun just came out!!)
