That is indeed a sad thing. But it makes me smile to think how happy you made Raven.....even down to the molasses. (Reminds me of when my mother-in-law was dying, couldn't eat by mouth, but at that point it didn't matter any more. As I gave her a taste of vanilla ice cream, she smiled and whispered...that taste soooo good as she relished the taste. And yes, we gave her whatever she wanted). Thank you for sharing and for the wonderful picture of Raven. She was so happy. :o)
