I have seen people selling these balls at equine events. At horse expos and at the USPC's (United States Pony Club) annual meeting a few years back. It is used by a lot of riders to improve balance and core muscles while indoors.
I think it is an awesome idea, and I need to find one myself... while my balance is good, my core muscles could really use some toning! LOL... plus my grandaughter would think it was fun to play with!
