[haflingerfriends] Re: Need advice- mare won't drink!

The other thing to keep in mind...if the water trough or buckets are outside, they are filling with the rain water also. We've gotten 2" in 24 hours and when the water is at the mark I have that shows the drop in drinking level, it's still at the mark. That tells me with this rain the buckets and trough are refilling with the rain. Now with her being gaunt, that does sound as though she is really stressed by these storms and may not be drinking enough.
