Yeah, looking over the benefits, I don't think I'd fit into either Member or Associate category. I could sort of see the advantages of getting the discounted fees for selling/transferring ownership, but since I'm planning on keeping my guy for life, it's a moot point. The merit awards for the recreational rider and driver is something I'm really interested in, but not at the expense of all the other benefits that I can't see myself getting involved with.
I think $45 for the magazine subscription seems fair, but maybe you could throw in a little card for the wallet and a sticker for the car? Perhaps some kind of abbreviated membership that would only include one perk/incentive/benefit, etc that people get to choose. as well as the magazine? That way someone could get involved, but they might not want to pay $65 for the whole kit and caboodle?
Just a thought. I'd probably get on board with that somehow.
