Re: [haflingerfriends] Re: Preaching to the Choir

Thank you, Denny,

I am feeling better. The funny thing is the more irritable I get, the better I know I'm getting. LOL I'm getting back to my old easily-annoyed self. :P

I wish I could be the angel I was when I was feverish. I gushed over my family, telling them how much I appreciate and love them. I was oh sooooo sweet.

Sorry to hear that your feeling sick and crabby, hope that things get better soon.

There are always passionate people out there who want to get their point across, and this is a sublect that people feel strongly about. I take what I want from those comments, but I have to admit in just skipping over whole chunks of some discussions, because it's like watching endless repears on the TV.

Some people just don't seem to realize that boards like this are open for everyone to have their say, and we are all entitled to our own opinions, and I believe that we are equally entitled to express those opinions in a forthright but respectful manner. What I find wearisome is those who seem to believe that by constantly repeating themselves and 'shouting' for longer it makes them right, it doesn't just makes them more persistant.

I'm not having a dig at any individual there, just saying that's waht I perceive. As to the breeding debate, I've started my opinion before, and I'm not going into it again now. I have strong thoughts and feelings on a lot of it, but you know there is little chance of me converting even one person, so I said my bit, and I'm done.

Or, organizing in some way to require licenses to breed horses. I'm not against responsibly breeding out-crosses. People breed unfit purebreds, as well as mixes. I'm not into trendy pets. I'm just tired of this topic. Nothing new is being said.
