With all the questions about finding the right saddle, I thought I'd post the wonderful experience I just had with Dover.
I presently ride my Haflinger in an Isabell and it fits him nicely. However it doesn't fit me nicely. Really bothers my left hip. So I am on a mission to find the right fit for both of us. I called Dover to ask about possible saddles to fit my boy. As soon as they heard that I had a Haflinger, they said Oh, your in luck, out saddle fitter has a Haflinger. Her name is Michelle and she is wonderful. She has a lot of good suggestions on the phone and is sending me lists of saddle fitters in my area and directions for getting the info needed to find the right saddle for Mic. She couldn't have been nicer. I never felt rushed or like she had someone else she needed to tend to. She also shared great stories about her Haflinger. A lot of the stories sounded soooo familiar. So if you are looking for an English saddle, you might want to check out Dover. They also have a test ride plan. Good Luck to everyone looking for that perfect fit. :o) Tina in VA
