[haflingerfriends] Re: Camyrn says Yum

My pony's favorite treat, bar none, are Licorice altoids. Actually, there was a taste test done and it was found that licorice was the most preferred flavor for horses, over peppermint. Problem is that a lot of PEOPLE despice licorice so the tack shops market the peppermint instead. Fun fact for today! Granted, altoids are a breathmint and probably 90 percent sugar, but they are small and one would be plenty for training treat!

> I've gotten sick of buying expensive horse treats for clicker training. Tried several things like animal cookies, cheerios, wheat thins, mini wheats, nope none were good enough for the princess. Found a great recipe online and tried it. Camryn finally gave a hooves up, much less expensive, I'm sure healthier though there is some molasses, and I can easily carry them in pocket :)
